2. Watering: Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. During the growing season (spring and summer), water the plant thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry. Reduce watering in the dormant season (fall and winter), allowing the plant to rest. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure good drainage and use a well-draining succulent soil mix.

3. Potting: Use a shallow and wide pot with good drainage to accommodate the plant's tuberous roots. Repot every few years or when the plant outgrows its container.

4. Soil: Use a well-draining succulent or cactus potting mix. You can also amend regular potting soil with perlite or coarse sand to improve drainage.
